Writing a book seems easy: you sit and start writing. From outside so it seems, but teaching through a book requires reading and reread, changing words, making sense of ideas so that they can be understood by readers. A book to teach is very different from a literary work, where you can free rein to your imagination and expose your dreams, ideas, experiences and a thousand more things. To teach something, first have to be known, immersed in that, understanding it, dominating it and when it is already part of your essence, only at that time can be disseminated in a understandable way.

In this book I have tried to reflect the two primordial factors of orthodontic and orthopedic treatment. In the first of them, the diagnosis, paramount for the success of the treatment, are reflected by different diagnostic methods that will allow the professional to obtain the appropriate tool to clarify the diagnostic doubts of their patients and elaborate an adequate treatment plan, applicable to the child and the adult from treatments of interceptive orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics to interdisciplinary complex orthodontic treatments. The second is the treatment, where we present multiple alternatives of solution to orthodontic problems, in open bites, crossed bites, inclined molars, and other usual problems that we handle daily and where a vademecum is very useful.
