This fourth edition has been edited to VI (six) volumes. This does not mean that some topics have been eliminated. We have simply summarized and updated without losing anything of the essentials. We plan to make it thus more economical and more accessible to all our readers, especially the young generations.

The number of illustrations has been increased. We have also invited many teachers and doctors, not only Spanish-speaking, to write some chapters in which they are world-renowned authorities.
