I was intrigued with these devices, but I did not get anyone to explain how or why this happened, what was the secret. I began to discover the secrets of a devices designed by an Australian Orthodontist, Dr. Chris Farell. Together with my youngest son, at that time student dentistry, we attended their seminars, conferences and courses. We began to investigate about their philosophy of treatment "corrects the cause and the problem will be resolved by itself." Through today we have treated hundreds of patients with Trainer and MyObrace appliances, first correcting myofunctional breathing and swallow problems. We have been able to combine the preventive, interceptive and corrective treatment in a functional way as we had never done before. I have developed techniques, such as the QR Biofunctional System, always under the philosophy of Trainer and Myobrace appliances, which substantially decreases the presence of recurrences in the treatment with myofunctional training that through those Apparatus I can give my patients. All previous reasons have led us to write this new book about secrets of Trainer, MyObrace and Biofunctional System, which today can illuminate the path to functional orthodontics.
